It looks so new but now it’s like 30 and gets stuck most of the time

As a skinny teenager, this coaster threw me around in my seat like a rag doll.

It’s hard to find a good pirate ship ride. This one looks great. The ship is long and goes high.

To anyone who still wants to ride this ride : it is still up! Just , now outdoor. This ride in located in Amarillo , TX at Wonderland Amusement park. Unfortunately , many have complained the ride is much slower and way more boring being an outdoor ride. I never rode the indoor ride , but it seemed so much better.

The old station and tunnel had such an atmosphere. It was indescribable.

You dont realise how old things are untill you watch things like this

0:53 the choking sound played pretty late here. It was very old back then so it makes sense that Terror Castle was getting started on it's ghost train life span

The first coaster that gave me a migraine.. can't go back to 1988 anymore. Yeah I liked the old Zambezi zinger better too.

These were the days! New rides as they call them are dulled down!

I'm VERY impressed by the speed of operations with unloading and loading of riders. Nothing seems to move like this anymore.

Fun fact: the footers and station of this coaster still exist, 22 years after it was removed. Nothing at all has replaced its skinny plot, which begs the question, did it really have to go?

The noisy, ugly fare-rides replaced green lawns, flower beds and wooden benches. You choose?

I feel like intamin should re make these but with sit down trains. They are good fun and are the perfect family thrill ride!

Oh I wish it was real

I had an accident on the ghost train in 1991. Made a boring ride a whole lot scarier! Surprised it was allowed to stay open afterwards.

Wierdly about 30 years ago we was in the lanes just outside datchworth late at night looking around in an old escort van and something shot across the road in front of us, It was like a large mist that shot across the road, we all was pretty stunned at first, But we all decided it was time to leave, The only time I have seen something else like that was Clophill church.

I never really liked this ride. It was slow and not very long. Still a classic. Never understood why they had this and Cork Screw. I think I would have rather had Cork Screw. I really miss this place. Such a shame what they did.

Can't explain how emotional this was watching this. My late mum used to take me frequently on the train from Liverpool, sometimes with friends. I never thought I'd be 'one of those people' who say it, but life seemed so simpler then, late 1980s, early 1990s. Being a kid was great, no Facebook, TikTok or whatever, just a wristband and Frontierland for a day.
